Pemberdayaan Ekonomi Santri Tunanetra melalui Kewirausahaan Inklusif dan Pendampingan Akuntansi Syariah Berbasis Teknologi Aksesibel

Abstract

This community service program aimed to empower visually impaired students at Sam’an Darushudur Tahfidz Islamic Boarding School through inclusive entrepreneurship and Sharia accounting assistance supported by accessible technology. The program employed a participatory action approach involving visually impaired students and pesantren facilitators in needs assessment, entrepreneurship training, financial management practice, technology-assisted accounting, and evaluation. The activities covered business opportunity identification, simple business planning, financial literacy, transaction recording, cash flow management, profit-and-loss reporting, and Islamic business ethics. Accessible technologies, including screen readers and voice-to-text features, were introduced to facilitate independent financial recording. Evaluation was conducted through pre-tests, post-tests, practical observations, and interviews. The results indicated improvements in participants’ knowledge of entrepreneurship and Sharia accounting, as well as their practical skills in financial recording and accessible technology use. The program also strengthened participants’ understanding of honesty, trustworthiness, transparency, and accountability in business management. The findings demonstrate that integrating inclusive entrepreneurship, Sharia accounting, and accessible technology can support sustainable economic empowerment and greater financial independence among visually impaired students in Islamic boarding schools.
